All About That Back

About five years ago I had a horrendous back spasm. I remember it quite clearly it was Friday after work. It was so bad I didn’t even return to work until the following week on Wednesday, and I was still in pretty bad shape. This wasn’t the first time I’d had a back spasm, nor was it the last. But this particular spasm pushed me to my mental limits. I had to try something different. I needed a change in my life.

I ended up finding some kind of Groupon or Living Social Deal for a personal trainer at FitnessBootCampAA.com in Ann Arbor. I thought I’d use this guy for a month then bounce. I had worked with other trainers in the past. I always felt like they were stuffy headed and judgmental, and also like they didn’t really care about me as a client but just collecting their bottom line dollar. And I am an outdoor person!  hate being inside! if I’m going to do something to get exercise I’d rather go outside and ride my mountain bike, play disc golf, or go for a hike. A gym is the last place you would have found me.

After only a couple sessions with Mike, I was totally sold. Mike was totally different than any other trainer I’d ever worked with.

I was so impressed with him and his work ethic and the quality training he provided I ended up being a client for over 2 years. The only reason I left was because I moved and it was no longer feasible to drive to the gym. If you are looking for a quality gym to train in, it’s the place to be!

Mike has grown his business over the last 5 years and I’m impressed every time I catch up with him. Even though I don’t train with him anymore because I live an hour away, we are buds. He is a very genuine person that cares not only about his clients, but the personal trainers he employs. I seriously hope you check him out!
